Apart from the education services to the children, Sri Subramaniya Kottam is involved with providing sustainable income solutions to the families of the children.
They provide training to poor families to cultivate and harvest mushrooms in order to maintain a sustainable income. Part of the revenue is used to support the education services of the Centre. They also have been providing tube well facilities for poor families in Vanni district, to have access to good water.
