What can be considered more meritorious than caring for the wellbeing of pregnant mothers and newborns?
Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Seva Centre undertakes this amazing project, caring for approximately 250 expecting mothers a year. Each expecting mother is fully provided with health drinks, milk powder, bedding, bottles and all other childcare products that they will need to care for their newborns. The majority of the population that come to the Centre are from extreme poverty ridden families, and we are privileged to be able to fund them, and commend the officials and midwives at nearby Mullaithivu hospitals for their endless support.
