The Trustees of the Manitha Neyam Trust (the “Trust”) wanted to provide you with an update as to how your generous donations have been allocated. Please see the below table of villages and families who have been provided with relief packs over the past few weeks
The data is up to date as of 24 May 2020, with the monetary value of donations amounting to LKR 9,188,900. The COVID-19 work related to prevention of hardship and starvation initiative by the Trust is ongoing and expected to continue for some time. The Trust continues to receive further requests for help from a number of deserving sources, and is considering all requests with respect to availability and resources.
As ever, the Trust is grateful for your thoughtful, timely and generous support and will continue to keep you informed.
The Trustees expect that it will need to continue its support activities for quite some time.
