As the entire world is affected by this pandemic, here at Manitha Neyam Trust, we are helping people to survive this economic shutdown by providing relief packs with pantry essentials for low-income and daily wage families across the country. Sri Lanka is going on more than 40+ days of lockdown and curfew, affecting these families both in rural areas and well as the capital city of Colombo. 

Based on the request of the following:

Trustees of the “Sri Krishnan Kovil”, Colombo 13, MNT donated relief packs to 100 families.All Ceylon Hindu Congress, at the “Muthumariyamman Temple”, Wellampitiya, MNT donated relief packs to 179 families.Consortium of Humanitarian Agencies, at various place in and around Colombo, MNT donated relief packs to 150 families.

We note that there are more families waiting for some sort of relief donations as they don’t have any other means of income due to current situation. We expect to continue our relief donations and we kindly request our donors to support us in the hour of need.
