Human values, such as truth, good conduct, love, Shanthi (Peace), and Ahimsa (Non-violence) are taught by the Sathya Sai Seva Centre, Thanniyoottu. For the last 7 years, they have taught tolerance and respect to parents, elders, and teachers. Humility, respect for all religions, and service for all, are some of the key values imparted to them by experts on Human Values.
This is conducted monthly as a full day workshop, and lunch and refreshment provided to all participants. As all these students are from poor families and rural villages, they are provided with Rs. 1,000 each to meet their cost of private tuition fees and educational expenses.
Manitha Neyam Trust is sponsoring this program and helping 50 students monthly. We hope to see many more students getting value-based educations!
