Donation of dry rations to the families affected by Covid-19 lockdown in Jaffna district – April 14, 2021.

The pandemic continues to devastate the world; Sri Lanka is experiencing a second wave of infections.  The daily wage-earning families and those living under the poverty line are most affected by the intermittent lockdowns and are finding it very difficult to survive.

Based on the request made by the Nallur divisional secretariat, Manitha Neyam Trust sponsored and provided dry rations packs to 150 families in Thinnaiveli, Palpannai area in the Jaffna district.

Manitha Neyam Trust expects to continue providing relief with the help of donors and well-wishers as the lockdown of certain areas in the island still continues.  We thank you for your lasting support!
