As the pandemic continues to devastate the world and Sri Lanka with the second wave of infections, families living below the poverty line and off of daily wages are the most affected.  With the economic shutdown, they are finding it very difficult to survive.

In late November, Sai School Manipay provided dry rations to such families affected by the pandemic shutdown. 100 families in Sankanai GS division received the relief from Sai School. The families were selected by the Divisional Secretary, and donations were distributed by the management of Sai School, Manipay.

Thanks to our donors, the cost of the dry rations was fully funded by Manitha Neyam Trust.

We hope to continue supporting struggling families with the help of our donors and well-wishers.
