As the pandemic continues to devastate the world and Sri Lanka with a second wave of infections, families living below the poverty line and on daily wages are most affected.  With the economic shutdown, they are finding it very difficult to survive.

Manitha Neyam Trust provided aid to supply dry food staples (totaling Rs 375,000) to 250 families in Mullaitivu, affected by the shutdown.  The deserving families were selected by the Divisional Secretary of Mullaitivu and the food staples distributed by the Sai Seva Centre, Thanneerootru.

Manitha Neyam Trust expects to continue the relief donations with the help of donors and well-wishers.
