The land adjacent to the building is causing a major health hazard to the inmates of the home, as the land is marshy and the drainage system is very poor, and hence infested with Mosquitoes and other insects and also polluted water.

• Urgent Needs - Assistance is sought as a priority measure to seek the support of the Government Authorities  (Municipal Council) to take immediate action to improve this aspect of sanitation. Funds for maintenance and support services.

• Cost - Per Student per month
  Rs.1,800 (US$ 18 or £ 10 or AU$ 24)

• Support Given - The Trust Provides funds for special coaching in English, Mathematics & Science for weak students. Regular medical and dental checkups are provided. As the hostel lacked proper sanitary facilities, the Trust built a new toilet block and septic tank at a cost of US$10,000.
